Little Moony: Intern Project

Pulling inspiration from upcoming trends in the kids apparel boutique spaces, I created multiple designs with Little moony. I focused o the “Traditional” themes of Unicorns and Dinosaurs to create a unique Little Moony look to them. The patterns explored both traditional and digital ways of creating patterns as I simultaneously delve into in-field research across various major boutique spaces.

Sketch Bodies

Throughout my time at Little Moony, I created 50+ front and back sketch bodies of the various existing designs as well as new designs for the Fall collection. It was requested of me to stray slightly from the traditional CAD sketch by stylizing some of the lines, adding specific stitch indications and creating them with a hand drawn feel. Brand & Trend Research

During the start of my internship, I had conducted brand research to get a feel for Little Moonys aesthetic, market and values to ensure my designs aligned. I then refined my research after in-field investigation to Playtime NYC for internal use.
